Spring has arrived beneath the surface too
Over the past days, we have been encountering eggs from cuttlefish, squid, and fish almost daily – scattered across both shallow and deeper waters. Small, silent signs of life beginning again.
Each spring, these recordings bring a sense of hope. Despite the heavy footprint of human activity, marine life continues to endure and push forward.
But this resilience comes at a cost. Often, species are forced to rely on man-made objects on the seabed to lay their eggs, as natural habitats disappear or become unsuitable.
Life always finds a way.
The question is – will we make room for it?
