First Aid Training with the Hellenic Rescue Team of Samos

The Hellenic Rescue Team of Samos Ελληνική Ομάδα Διάσωσης Παράρτημα Σάμου – Hellenic Rescue Team of Samos provided first aid training to over 60 members of the Archipelagos Institute’s research teams. This will be followed by practical rescue courses at sea under real conditions aboard the research vessels. Considering our teams’ frequent operations in open maritime environments, this training is of particular significance.

The long-standing collaboration between the Archipelagos Institute and the Samos Branch of the Hellenic Rescue Team is of vital importance, particularly given the challenging conditions of the Aegean region where we operate. The Samos Branch stands out as one of the most active and capable rescue teams in the country, renowned for its expertise in maritime rescue and its invaluable, unwavering contributions.
