The Consulate General of Greece in Boston, in collaboration with the Institute of Eastern Mediterranean Studies at Emmanuel College and with the Archipelagos – Institute of Marine Conservation will bring the Aegean Sea to the USA on the 29th of May at 11:00 Boston (EDT)/ 18:00 Athens (EEST).

In the webinar you will experience impressive audiovisual material from the biodiversity of the Aegean which has been recorded over 24 years of year-round research and conservation work at the Archipelagos Institute. There will be a discussion on the threats to marine life as well as how each of us can limit the footprint we leave on the natural environment and our seas through our daily activities.

It is surprising how little we know about the rare biodiversity that survives until today in the Greek Seas. When we are unaware of the important wildlife of our waters, it is impossible to protect it!
