Archipelagos Institute of Marine Conservation wants to thank the Kalymnos Nautical Company (ANEK) and the island of Kalymnos for supporting the transfer of hundreds of students, teachers and researchers, as well as materials between the Archipelagos’ main research base on Samos and the research station on Lipsi.
We must emphasize that the island of Kalymnos is a reference point for the inhabitants of northern Dodecanese throughout winter and summer, in storms and adverse weather conditions. It creates a bridge for people and goods traveling to other islands, significantly contributing to the daily life of the inhabitants of the northern Dodecanese. We hope it to always be seaworthy!
