Thin lips and pointed snout. It has gray transversal stripes, between 6-7 dark stripes and between 5-7 light stripes. Silverish-gray body. A wide fading band on the caudal peduncle. The tail is edged with a black margin. There is a dark mark at base of pectoral fin.
